The University Neighborhood Preservation Association (UNPA) and the Barry Park Association will host the 4th Annual Barry Park Fun Run on Sunday, May 21st to gather children, families & neighbors of the University community and celebrate the long-waited arrival of spring. Registration will begin at 10:00 a.m. at Barry Park, near the playground. There will be a half-mile run and a 3K for older kids. The first 125 kids receive a t-shirt and prize.
A $5 suggested donation for each runner will go to support the outdoor programs and activities provided by the Barry Park Association. The run is being presented by UNPA & The Barry Park Association as a neighborhood effort to support health, family, community and buying local. Pre-registration is not required. For an additional $5 you can purchase a tote printed with a neighborhood map– perfect for the co-op, library and carrying work essentials.
